Ever feel like you’re working hard… but not quite hitting your natural stride?
I have seen thousands of CVs in my life. All alike, though, few …Interesting.
Freshers from the same college have the same CVs, with the same font, margins, and museum effect, as if they were made in a factory on a mass scale.
On closer examination, I found that the students even write the same strengths and objectives. I found it hilarious. But why do you do it? Because no one tells you your strengths, all society has done is … to find faults and weaknesses in you, and you have been busy plugging those holes.
So, I decided to create an offline framework for identifying your strengths. You don’t have to spend $25, $50, or $60. You just need to read this email carefully, download the attachment (if you want), and pick up a pen and paper to do so.
Let me ask you this:
What if success wasn’t about fixing your weaknesses,
But about discovering and doubling down on what you naturally do best?
That’s the idea behind the Clifton Strengths Finder (CSF) — one of the most powerful tools I’ve seen for personal and professional growth.
So, what is CSF?
Clifton Strengths (formerly Strengths Finder) by Gallup helps you identify your top 5 innate talents — not learned skills, but what you were born to do well.
There are 34 strengths in total — like Empathy, Focus, Strategic, Achiever, and Ideation.
Each of us has a unique mix that defines how we work, think, connect, and lead.
Here’s how to use it to find YOUR core strengths
Step 1: Read the 34 one-liner summaries
→ You’ll get a feel for which ones sound like you. (List is in the downloadable guide below.)
Step 2: Pick your Top 10 “most relatable” strengths
→ Think: Which of these feel natural to me, even if I don’t always use them?
Step 3: Narrow it down to your Core 5
→ These are your power levers. You’ll start to see a pattern — how these 5 keep showing up in your life.
